WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SUNBORN YACHT PARKED AT BONNY CAMP?
The Lagos state government paid £20 million for the 5,800-tonne vessel was towed away on 6 August 2008 for its new home in Africa. Although Sunborn, which has become a familiar sight for visitors to the London Boat Show, looks like a cruise ship, it has no engines and was built specifically for use as a hotel.
However a new larger boat with 200 rooms will replace the current Sunborn Yacht at some point in the future.
